TERMS & CONDITIONS

Each participant must agree to the disclaimer and these terms and conditions before participating in the event. All participants take part at their own risk and registrants must be capable of completing the full distance, start line to finish line.

Children must be accompanied at the event by a parent/guardian.

​

Any participant who refuses to obey the directions of the event official, a member of staff or course marshal, or who conducts himself/herself in an unsportsmanlike manner, or who is offensive by action or language to officials, volunteers, participants or spectators may be disqualified from the event and future participation at the discretion of event officials.

​

Abusive and anti-social behaviour to staff, volunteers or Participants will not be tolerated, should this be the case we would ask you to leave the premises.

MEDICAL

​

Medical personnel authorised by the event to do so may examine any participant who appears in distress. If in the sole opinion of authorised medical personnel it is in the best interest of the participant’s health and welfare, medical personnel can remove the participant from the event. Participants must retire at once from the event if ordered to do so by a member of the event’s official staff, official medical staff, or any governmental authority, including fire and police officers. Participants are responsible and assume liability for any and all medical expenses incurred as a result of training for and/or participation in the event, including but not limited to ambulance transport, hospital stays, physician and pharmaceutical goods and services.

Event officials reserve the right to delay, cancel, alter the route or suspend the event. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.
 

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing the content of the Interfaith Wellbeing Festival website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein and you accept our privacy policy detailed below. If you object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement you should not use any of the services on the Website and leave immediately.

All email communications sent by us and attachments thereto are intended only for the addressee and/or others authorised to receive them.

In completing this entry you declare that you, or anyone that you are paying for, will only participate in the event if you are medically fit to do so and that, in any event, you will compete at your own risk.

You accept that the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses which may arise in consequence of your participation of the event.

I assume all risks associated with the London Interfaith Run including but not limited to:

•    Slips, falls, contact with other participants.
•    Negligent or wanton acts of other participants.
•    Effects of weather including high heat

 

You understand that entry fees are non-refundable. You also hereby give your permission for Maccabi GB to use your name, quotes, video footage, and photographic likeness for marketing and promotional purposes.

 

MODIFICATION

 

We reserve the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and your use of the Website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.

 

We have complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this site without warning or liability arising from such action.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

We will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the Website.

Nothing within this Agreement will operate to exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as result of the negligence of us.

COPYRIGHT

All intellectual property of ours such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the Website remain the property of us.

By using the Website you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of us and will refrain from copying, downloading, transmitting, reproducing, printing, or exploiting for commercial purpose any material contained within the Website.

DISCLAIMERS

 

The information is provided on the understanding that the website is not engaged in rendering advice and should not be wholly relied upon when making any related decision.

 

The information contained with the Website is provided on an “as is” basis with no warranties expressed or otherwise implied relating to the accuracy, fitness for purpose, compatibility or security of any components of the Website. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Website and cannot provide any representation that using the Website will be error free.

 

FILMING

 

The Interfaith Wellbeing Festival is a communal event where we reserve the right to take still and moving images. This may include the use a drone camera. We may have a drone operator onsite who is licensed and has a CAA permission. Anyone who does not wish their image to be captured should make themselves known to a member of the Maccabi GB team on the day of the event. By taking part, all participants confirm that they are happy for their names and any footage or photographs taken during their participation in the Interfaith Wellbeing Festival to be used in the future. Participant run number bibs are specific personal identifiers and cannot be exchanged with or sold to any other person.

 

PRICE AND PAYMENT

 

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. We reserve the right, however, to change prices at any time without notice to you.

We accept Visa, Delta, Switch and MasterCard. Payment will be taken from your card immediately as you place your order. If you subsequently fail our security checks or for any reason we will refund your card with the original amount within 24 hours of notifying you. Please note that this may take up to 5 working days for your bank to process these refunds and we cannot be held responsible for any delays in refund payments.
 

You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours.

All credit / debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us we will not be liable to you for any delay or non-delivery.

​

CANCELLATION RIGHTS

 

Once you have filled out the registration form online and payment has been processed you will not be eligible for a refund for any reason.
